Owner + Lead Planner

Emily became interested in wedding planning while in college at the University of Tennessee (go Vols)! Because of her Type-A personality & attention to detail, her friends were always asking for help planning their weddings but the true passion came when she was planning her own to her high school sweetheart, Zach. Excelling in logistics, Emily lives for planning out the timeline of your big day; you can count on well-designed spreadsheets & schedules. Making sure everything is accounted for & events are timed appropriately, Emily & AWG focus on the tedious details so that couples can enjoy all of the perks that come with the planning process (hello, cake-tasting!) So far, they’ve helped over 100 couples make their special day truly their own. A mom to her son Nathan and daughter Tiffany, Emily loves that AWG helped her escape the corporate world & that her children can see their mom work hard as a bad a$$ business owner. 

Because it’s important to feel like you could be friends with your wedding planner, Emily wants future clients to know what she’s about besides her passion for planning. She’s a fur mom to her boxer-mix, Lila, a lover of Chick-Fil-A (who isn’t?) & into just about every sport! If you know enneagrams, then you know that Emily being a 1w2 makes her the perfect person to plan your wedding. If you have no clue what an enneagram is, then you should know those closest to her describe her as the “mom” of the group; always making sure everyone is on time, safe, responsible, & most importantly, well-fed. Being a mom & business owner, she’s unaware of the term “free time,” but she loves the moments spent with family on her parents’ farm soaking up God’s beauty!

Camille

Camille is the Jill of all trades and she manages most of the creative needs when Emily is focused on the logistics. She is a freelance florist, professional organizer, an artist, our team cheerleader … you could really ask Camille to do anything for you and she would find a solution! Her bubbly personality makes her a natural wedding planner and we are lucky to have her!

Katherine

Katherine is a native Nashvillian and currently works in brand marketing in Franklin, TN. In her free time you can find her shopping or spending time with her husband Ryan.

“I absolutely love working weddings for a multitude of reasons. First and foremost, it's incredibly rewarding to play a part in something as beautiful and momentous as a wedding day. It's a privilege to witness and contribute to the celebration of love and commitment. While the days can sometimes be a bit crazy and fast-paced, it's all worth it because I get to witness lives being changed forever. Being part of such a significant and joyous occasion is an experience that never ceases to inspire me.”

Analise

My name is Analise Gibbs and I am currently a sophomore at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I’m majoring in Communications Studies and minoring in Event Planning and Design. I have worked for AWG for the past two years and have loved getting to help out with all of the behind the scenes action that comes with the day of wedding coordinating. It is an honor to get to be a part of so many couples’ special days and making sure that everything comes together!

Caitlin

I have been an executive office assistant for a local attorney in Nashville for seven years. I have also worked in the food/event catering industry since 2013. I have always enjoyed hosting and planning events or gatherings for friends and family so when I met Emily about seven years ago through my boss at my current job, (before AWG even started) she introduced me to the wedding world and I have loved it ever since. Being the type two person I am, helping someone on their special day has always been so rewarding to me. This team definitely takes pride in what we do for our clients.

Tanya

Tanya has been with AWG since July 2023 and has loved every moment of it. While her background is in music and theatre, she has always been a planner by nature and loves to coordinate many different things in life. The pandemic brought her to Nashville where she decided to change course and follow a new passion, making Happily Ever Afters a reality. She has loved working alongside some amazing, talented ladies at AWG. The honor and fun of being a part of one of the biggest days in peoples lives, and making dreams become reality makes this “job” a truly magical experience. JLo makes it look easy in the movie, but make no mistake, AWG works hard and makes magic happen!
